Valens helps employers do better.
As part of that mission, we Identify Issues, Recommend Solutions, and Educate your entire workforce.
Welcome to Valens
HR is not just about hiring and firing…it’s about people and resources. And getting it right translates to higher employee engagement and productivity, increased profitability, and reduced legal risk. Similarly, Union Education is not just about providing facts…it’s about identifying the issues that your people believe an outside third party can solve. Valens, and its subsidiary, HR Logix, provide the guidance, tools, technology, and expertise necessary to help position your business for sustainable long-term growth. Here’s how we do it:
Meet Tracy, Founder and CEO
Tracy is an Employment and Labor Law attorney and HR Practitioner with over 35 years of hands-on experience. A consummate professional with a workforce-centric perspective, Tracy held leadership roles within the HR, Legal, and Labor Relations’ Departments of public and private employers in the banking, retail, distribution, transportation, logistics, higher education, real estate, emergency/governmental services, and healthcare industries.
She launched Valens and HR Logix to provide businesses of all types and sizes with the resources needed to confidently navigate through the complex maze of HR and Labor Relations.
Tracy has serviced some of the world’s most respected companies including the Reedy Creek Improvement District (special taxing District for Walt Disney World Resorts), Rite Aid Corporation, EXL Technology Solutions, Penske Truck Leasing, and Penske Logistics.
Tracy grew up on her family’s chicken farm in rural central Pennsylvania. She completed her B.A. Degree in English/Professional Writing and went on to secure a J.D. Degree from Widener University. Tracy ultimately became licensed to practice law, all while holding down a full-time career, a part-time role for over 20 years as an Adjunct Legal Professor, and raising 3 children: Kylie, Tyler and Remy.
Tracy is passionate about all things related to water and wildlife conservation as well as helping women break free and heal from the trauma of domestic violence and abuse. When she’s not working, you’ll find her traveling around in a ’73 Nomad travel trailer that she renovated herself, volunteering with West Orange Habitat for Humanity, listening to live music, paddleboarding the Springs, hiking, or enjoying a nice ocean breeze and sunset.
